Manasota Key’s Hermitage and its five little buildings, have been available to world-class creators from every artistic discipline. Each invitee stays for six weeks along the shores of Blind Pass Beach. The setting is meant to inspire through nature. The artist then shares his/her accomplishments with the entire southwest Florida community through performances, lectures, concerts and visual presentations. Manasota Key is also part of Sarasota and Charlotte Counties accessing not only Sarasota’s magnificent cultural scene but, more art and entertainment in Venice, Englewood, Fort Myers and Naples.

Fort Myer’s Art Walk – Held the first Friday of every month from 6 to 10 p.m., Fort Myer’s Art Walk features local and national artwork in downtown art galleries and several art stops along the River District.
Fort Myer’s Florida Reperatory Theatre – Built in 1908, the Arcade Theatre is the setting for award winning live performances featuring ten plays from October through May. This is where Thomas Edison saw his first film along with Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone. Performance Schedule
Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall – Fort Myers – A broad spectrum of the world’s finest artists ranging from music and dance to theater and comedy are featured throughout the months of October through May. More Info
Naples Museum of Art & Philharmonic Center for the Arts – This visual and performing arts center includes a three-story, 30,000 square-foot museum with 15 galleries and a glass-dome conservatory with a Persian Ceiling by acclaimed glass artist Dale Chihuly. The Philharmonic Center hosts a resident orchestra with most guest performances from October through April. More Info
